I found this article in the Bulletin, and frankly it made me feel slightly ill. According to this author, secure boot is the best thing that ever happened to computer users, and fine for Linux users too -- you just have to get some keys from the appropriate certification authority. And guess what? There's only one such authority and it belongs to Microsoft.

 

But the article is interesting as it shows what the "big boys" (Ubuntu, Fedora and Suse) are up to.
