Guest moksha Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Hi all I have recently installed ArtistX an ubuntu variation moksha@Desktop:~$ uname -r 3.8.0-35-generic I have had intermittant results with my soundcard moksha@Desktop:~$ lspci | grep -i audio 01:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GK107 HDMI Audio Controller (rev a1) 05:02.0 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies Inc. VT1720/24 [Envy24PT/HT] PCI Multi-Channel Audio Controller (rev 01) The Envy controller, it worked for a while then it stopped, obviously it is detected I would like to get it working again and ** big ask ** try and make the setting stick.
