Is my Gateway Mid-Tower a 64 bit computer of 32 bit computer? And can windows vista or 7 run...

I'm trying to fix this old Gateway computer system. It has this "winlogon.exe - Bad Image" error. i'm going to install windows xp service pack 2 on it that is legally downloaded from Microsoft (here is the link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17791)

 

 

Is it 64 bit or 32 bit? How do i know which to install? And i assume it's not compatible enough to install windows vista or 7.
