Virus threat ?

I run Avast (free version) antivirus. Avast identified the following threat - C\USERS\(my name)\APPDATA\TEMP\MSUPDATE71Zindexer.exe - an Win32:Malware-gen. I ran my antivirus, quick scan + deep scan + boot scan, the virus was identified but could not be removed - error 42111 ( the operation is not supported for this type of archive.)

Every time the antivirus pop up comes up, displaying this message, the cpu goes up to 100%. This pop up happens often, once every minute or two.

Any advise will be appreciated.
