Posted May 18, 201410 yr In trying to upgrade from XP to 8.1, I get the following messages: (I have run the Upgrade Assistant and everything is fine - system meets requirements, etc.) The procdure Entry_point _CxxFrameHandler 3 could not be located in the dynamic link library msvert.dll and The file autorun.dll could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0x7F] I had successfully booted from the DVD, entered language, time, etc., when I got the message that I had to restart computer in XP Windows, and run the setup from the DVD, when I received the above message.
