Guest April Ski Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 When packing up to move, I uncovered a relic from an old job. An old Dell laptop that turns on just fine and worked perfectly well when I did use it. The problem is,I cannot login. It's set up for the business's network and it's the only option so even if I did remember my login, I'm not sure it would work. Plus, I wasn't listed as THE admin, all I was allowed to do was chose what to download. I don't really NEED anything off of it but I would like to be able to get it working so I can give it to my son for his birthday next week. What do I do next? I have an old Windows XP cd with the serial number on it. Not sure it's ever been used, I've had it for many many years. I can buy another windows cd but how I go about running it if I can't even login? Help this broke mamma in her attempt to make a birthday boy very happy! Thank you! Continue reading... Quote
