Posted May 16, 201410 yr Hi I have an aging desktop which I plan on upgrading in 12-15 months. I am currently running W7 and would like to upgrade to 8.1. When I finally purchase my new hardware minus an OS, will I be able to transfer 8.1 across with a full install and not from a copied image from my current desktop?
