the library, drive or media pool is empty?????

I'm trying to download photos/videos from my Nexus 4 phone to my computer that is running Windows 8. It downloaded a big chunk of them and then in the middle of the download, it stopped and gave me this error: the library, drive or media pool is empty

 

 

I then tried to download again with the same error.

 

What does this mean..and more importantly, how do I fix it?
