So ever since the first time I opened a browser (went from IE to downloading Chrome, but I've had the same issue) I have been getting ads popping up on the left, bottom, and right sides of the screen. This is incredibly frustrating, and I have no clue how to fix it. If I wanted a computer to spam me with ads after I clicked a page, I would have kept my old Dell.

I don't know if this is from computer settings or if Best Buy is punishing me for not paying for the extended warranty, but this is my first time buying a Windows based product. I don't know how much more I can take if this continues.

For some background:

- Using McAfee that came with the computer, and the scan showed no viruses

- I've changed the settings from my Microsoft account to disable any ads

- I found another settings options page under Google

I don't know if this is common practice for new laptops to be spammed out of the box, but this is going to be a serious problem with this laptop and my future purchases if this continues.

Can anybody offer any help with this? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
