Posted May 15, 201410 yr Last night (5/14) when I shut down my XP computer I got the security code shield and the message not to shut down the computer as it would do so automatically after the updates were installed. Since there were supposed to be no updates for XP any more I was afraid this was a false update and it just wanted me to keep my computer on for nefarious reasons. I shut it down before the " updates" were completed. Were the updates real and can I be confident that future occurrences can be trusted? Continue reading...
