Guest OpenIdsAreDumb Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 This is a god awful feature. I want to know how to turn that off. It is really driving me batpoop crazy right now. I am a developer. I commonly have an "unending" list of applications open on my desk top. While it is annoying to see my computer rebooted, it is even worse to see that after I do It tries to restart them all. Computers are faster, but there's a potential there for some serious thrashing. I would call this a problem, not a feature. It's absolutely absurd to just blindly and always relaunch applications like that. Especially when it cannot realistically restore it in the exact state it was when I left it. How does one turn this thing off? <Split from: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_update/re-open-all-previous-software-open-files-after/1498d613-4987-4198-b6cf-388b6008c7e2 > Continue reading...
