Dual BIOS what is it

I know i have dual bios but what is it? Say if the main BIOS was flashed incorrectly, how would I go to the sub BIOS. Can I switch between them?

I dont have much on my manufacture details but its MSI MS7313

Because I think One of my computers got infected with CIH a few years ago running xp.

I'm just curious
