Posted May 14, 201410 yr I woke up this morning after letting Windows update do its thing, some security update, and IE 11 I believe, and my desktop has been reverted to a factory fresh look, all the folders and icons I had there are now gone. My log in picture as well. All my schoolwork is gone. I tried system restore, it gave me the same exact new desktop, even though I picked a date from a month ago. I am wondering if there is no work around, is there a class action suit I can join in? I lost a lot of homework. I will never choose automatic updates again. Continue reading...
