Guest lukestewartgillies Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Recently I have encountered quite an annoying issue with my internet. My internet is not working, except for one browser and Skype. I have tried on all of the devices in the house and have had no luck with any of them. But I did find that if I turn off my router then turn it back on the internet will work for maybe 20 seconds then drop out. I have a Compaq laptop and I am currently using Windows 8.0. I thing that I find weird is that Skype is working, I can make calls and IM. The only way I can access the internet right now is with Tor Browser on my laptop, If you don't know what Tor is, it is an anonymous browser that has an automatic VPN. Because of this VPN my download speed slows down to about 1mbps. Their is no "Limited" Title next to my current network and is no Exclamation mark in the yellow triangle. Using the internet at this speed is very frustrating so I would really appreciate it if you could help solve my issue as soon as possible. Continue reading... Quote
