Windows 8 Pro OEM Upgrade Problem

Hi All,

 

 

I recently bought an Acer P3 tablet pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 8 Single Language. Since I need to use some of the feature only available with Pro version, I bought myself a Windows 8 Pro OEM license. Since there's no way to reinstall Windows 8 from start, I use the "Add New Features" to upgrade. Apparently the license doesn't work since it's a full 8 Pro license and the features requires the Windows 8 Pro Pack license instead. So, i make a call to Microsoft Tech Line, and hopeful that they can change the license to Pro Pack license. After 2 hours of inquiring and to final point, pleading for a change (it's not possible to exchange or refund from the store I bought since the seal is opened already), they still won't allowed to change and leave me with RM 414 (~USD 129) down the drain.

 

 

Is there any way for me to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro with this product key, and i really hoping there's some flexibility on Microsoft part to help me in this predicament since I already bought a Microsoft product with a higher value than the Pro Pack Upgrade. I would glad to show my invoice and picture of the product key if requires by Microsoft.
