Posted May 13, 201410 yr * Original Title: Windows 8.1 wont start Hi When my laptop boots up it goes to a blue screen that says "your PC ran in to a problem and needs to restart" it restarts and goes in to a "preparing auto repair" then "diagnosing your repair" New blue screen headed Diagnosing your PC then Blue screen headed Auto Repair "your PC did not start properly" with the option of RESTART or ADVANCED OPTIONS I have tried all of the advanced options and none work even restore points have disappeared. If I go in to START UP REPAIR it just comes back with "could not repair your PC" I have even tried using the Windows 8 disc but it goes to a point where it says "start in windows" which ends back at the blue screen again.
