Posted May 13, 201410 yr Windows Defender keeps stalling when it tries to scan ( C:\Windows\twunk_32.exe ). I'm helping a friend out running different scans on his PC, but each time I try to Run a Scan with Windows Defender, it stops when it hits this file? Each time I come over to check out his PC, the Windows Defender says it's running, but it continues to STOP scanning when it reaches that file... I've run MalwareBytes Anti-spyware, along with his normal anti-virus, but neither of the programs catch it, or isolate it? So a bit perplexed.. After researching it, some sites say it's a virus, but other sites say it's not; and just leave it alone... Any insight into this issue would be appreciated. Thanks, Shawn Continue reading...
