Guest einoel12 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Hello everybody, For the past couple of days I'm dealing with the same problem over and over again. I'm starting up a program (in this case it is a game) and the same message pops up each time I start the game. It says the following message "The instruction on 0xac5c4cd7 refers to memory on 0x0000002c. A read- or write operation on the memory failed: read. Click OK if you want to close the program" I've checked for viruses and other junk and deleted it all. But I still got the same error, so I checked my logs and I saw that there were many logs with the 'file missing' message. So I 'fixed checked' but it didn't change anything. So now is my question, how can I delete or repair the 'missing files' in my logs? And does anyone see some other poblems in my logs ? Information ; I have windows 8 Malwarebytes (that already scanned my computer) Avast antivirus the free edition (that already scanned my computer) -> First I had Norton but that is the cause of all my problems now because it didn't protect my pc at all like you can see.. And here are my logs Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.5 Scan saved at 10:36:43, on 11-5-2014 Platform: Unknown Windows (WinNT 6.02.1008) MSIE: Internet Explorer v10.0 (10.00.9200.16537) FIREFOX: 28.0 (nl) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Settings\sSettings.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastUI.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe C:\Users\leonie\Downloads\HijackThis.exe R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://samsung13.msn.com R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=255141 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=255141 R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\Windows\SysWOW64\blank.htm R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = *.local R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName = F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=userinit.exe, O2 - BHO: AcroIEHelperStub - {18DF081C-E8AD-4283-A596-FA578C2EBDC3} - C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelperShim.dll O2 - BHO: avast!
