Legal way to reinstall windows

And again I had to reinstall Windows 8.

 

 

 

This time the code I bought and payed for wasn't accepted, which is a disgrace to begin with. But also the phone in activation treated me as the licence robbing criminal I am not.

 

 

Could mycrosoft either make their product reliable or refrain from obscure activation sequences when a totally legal customer is using it's products? I mean FY! If I buy a product it should be activated, right?

 

 

And for crying out loud why do I have to download and install 1.Gbyte of updates before I can do a 8 to 8.1 conversion! What is wrong with you guys?
