Neolithe Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Hello, I want to apologize up front for my newness and ignorance in this. I have been tasked to set-up a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 (Enterprise). We also have access to SBS 2011, would that be better? It is a very simple server, its only roles are to be a file server and an active directory domain controller. I have never setup a Windows Server before and so even though these tasks should be simple I am really struggling. There are only seven employees... So my question is...could anyone point me to some step by step guides to getting these two roles created. Also I want to setup Remote Administration and have no clue where to even start working on that. Thank you so much in advance. Neolithe Quote
