Posted May 8, 201410 yr Where do i begin... OT : Language pack problems!!! i bought a laptop in japan which has 8.0 windows operating system in japanese. After watching youtube help videos about how to change the language on the laptop i downloaded and installed English ( New Zealand) and moved it to the top of the priority list, then restarted. It changed about half the language, i open controll pannel to be bombarded with no english and only japanese characters, but when i look on the firefox or desktop it shows english. Clicking on english looks like this in bottom right corner (japanese characters) US (more japanese characters) at this point i figured it might just be NZs lanaguage pack so i installed US america and the same thing has happened (its currently set to US) Also navigating microsoft's help page is IMPOSSIBLE even in ENGLISH!
