Posted November 19, 200816 yr My Server just work some hours per day, so I want to configure that the server go to after 1 hour to standby and after 3 hours to the hibernate Mode. If there are request on network the server should wake up. I tried to configure all with the "power options" and the command line tool "powercfg". Set the network card as "DEVICEENABLEWAKE". If the Server goes to the standby he starts him self directly and if the Server goes to hibernate mode you can wake him up on network. Does anyone know how to solve my problem?
November 21, 200816 yr I'm not so sure you can do what you want. Servers are made to be available 24/7.
