Posted April 28, 201410 yr Original Title: Acer V5-122P won't update windows I recently bought an Acer V5-122 and it came with windows 8. I am attempting to update to Windows 8.1 however it keeps telling me i need to do the windows updates before I can do this. Everytime I try to do the windows update it either gets stuck on 'checking for updates' or if it gets through tells me there are 99 updates and stays stuck on 'downloading updates' once I start the install but doesn't ever move. I have ran the troubleshooters i have found on a similar question here and everything seems to be fine. Internet and everything else it running fine. Any help would be appreciated!
