Posted April 27, 201410 yr I have a smart card reader already built into my computer. When I had windows xp it worked fine. When XP went to the wayside and I started having issues with it, I loaded Windows 7 Professional onto the computer. Now my smart card readers won't work and I have already tried downloading drivers for it. I have also tried turning it the plug and play off and back on. It just is not recognizing the readers.
