Posted April 27, 201410 yr I am running Win 7 Ultimate and have been uising Defender as a resident antivirus. It shows nothing out of the ordinary when I run a scan. By mistake I ran a quick scan with Microsoft Security Essentials and it finds a virus. (virus: DOS/Rovnix/A) it claims it cleans and all is ok but wif I reboot and rerun the scan it finds it again. I have tried the remove and the clean options and it claims it worked...However if I reboot and rerun the scan it finds it again. Do I need to worry? Is there an anti-virus that will remove it? I am not adept with regedit and dont feel qualified to try deleting it manually...HELP Continue reading...
