Trouble viewing on line videos

I can't view on-line video clips.

I use to be able to view shows like grimm on line if I missed them.

now I just get a blank spot on my screen, for lack of a better description, where the video should be.

The system does not hang up, I can back out and do other things.

I'm using windows 7 and explorer 11.

This nonsense just started, any ideas?
