I have been trying to install this for about three days now. I have yet to find a solution to the error message, and I have no money to ask support to fix the problem. I have tried stopping then restarting the Explorer.exe, did not work, I have tried uninstalling the only other one installed on my computer which is the 2005 version, and that did not work, I have tried turning off my firewall, still did not work, I have tried a clean boot, still did not work. I am down to my last known option of starting in Safe Mode, but I have doubts about that working when I have tried everything I could possibly find in solutions to this problem on the web.

The error I keep getting is "error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable."
