Posted April 24, 201410 yr I keep having my Neat scanner program crash and have to reset. I opened a trouble request and they said my virus program is causing the Neat program to crash and I have to disable the virus program or create an exception to allow the Virus program to not shut down the Neat software. The following is from Neat: "an error caused the program to shut down" Hello, Thank you for the response. I do understand that you are having this difficulty but we rally need to disable the antivirus from your computer, if you know someone who knows to disable norton please do contact that person. The reason why we have to turn off the antivirus it is because it is trying to access your database that is why your unable to access neat. You can actually ask the it guy if he can put exemption to neat. Let me know how this works. Neat Technical Support Please note the program starts scanning the receipts and sometime will work and most times shuts the program down and I have to restart.
