5 xp computers failing after downloading EOS update..

pretty much says it sll .

I have 2 desk top and 2 map top and 4 neighbors have 4 , that all after down loading the EOS UPDATE seem to hang in very slow motion

and no longe function at an acceptable level, over the pas 2 days I have been trying to help everyone to no avail as if I get task manager started right away I can see process shows 99 % idle, yet computer seems to be hung. I discovered this by starting a lap top I have not used in a while, it started fine and ran for a few hours ok, until I ok the download and install of the EOS upgrade. it now is in the same bucket as the others...

I don't appreciate a poison pill and wonder how legal that is ..

I have a 95 computer still running just fine.. no support, but it seems to not care and just keeps ticking.
