So I was downloading the steam launcher onto my Debian today. I was following some online instructions to install the program and followed them all the way through. After i had finished installing it, I minimized my terminal and looked through my programs, of which there were none. I clicked Log Out to reboot my computer to see if that would help but it gave me an error message every time i clicked the log out button. It said something like the process was unable to run or something like that. I manually rebooted my computer and opened my OS but when i did there was no GUI. it opened in a command line and had only the "Login to wolf-PC:" text on the screen. I typed in my username, hit enter, typed in my password, hit enter. and that's it. It didn't do anything from that. Just stayed in the same command line. I tried rebooting it into recovery mode but that doesn't seem to help either. Any ideas?
