Hi,

I've gotten two or three blue screen error recently all because of the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System driver. I haven't been able to find any answered questions on this site so I'm starting a new one (sorry if there was one and I missed it).

These errors only appear when I resume my computer after hibernation. Can anyone help?

Some further information:

Dell Inspiron N5110

Windows 7

Windows update already run and no updates for this driver found

My Dell (PC Doctor application) gives: "The "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System" driver (C:\windows\system32\drivers\acpi.sys) appears to have caused a system crash.

The driver listed above has version: 6.1.7601.17514

Busy sorting out another error with intel where my usb 3.0 drivers have mysteriously disappeared.

Before both the usb 3.0 drivers disappeared and this blue screen first started I did drop my laptop off of a couch. This was about half a meter (about 2 feet) off the ground. Not sure if this might have caused anything so I'm just mentioning it in case.

Any help would be much, much appreciated!
