Some people claiming to be from Microsoft called my land line phone. They claim to upgrade your licence agreement, Asian accent. I asked where they're from, Australia they said.

They asked me to press the 'windows' key on the keyboard and 'R' at the same time to run the 'run' window, and they gave me some names to put there such as CMD, ASSOC and a Ammy website to download Teamviewer8. I've done it, and then basically they took over my computer, and were doing stuff to it, and then asked me to log on to my net banking account. I found it suspicious of course, but still logged on. (PLEASE don't do that). I asked where they were from again, (claimed to be from Australia) and why i needed to log in, at first they said it was to confirm something, and then after that, I asked again and they said It was to pay a $20 fee for the service.

After that they were giving me all these key numbers for the licence. They insisted for me to leave the phone on speaker while the stuff installs on my pc. I said i needed to go out they said to leave the pc on. I just turned off the pc and hung up after I said I can't leave the phone on, and go out and he started yelling for me to 'LEAVE IT ON' and do not use your mobile phone. do not use any electricals inside the house, as it would interfere with the installation.

They also told me to give them the code that would come up as a message in my phone, claiming it was a spam message, the message was from my NetBank giving me the confirmation code for transfering money. i hung up, went straight to my bank and told them what happened, they checked my transactions and on the same day they called, a transaction has been made to Hong Kong amount over $1,000.00 . The only $20 there was was the $22 fee for the money transfer.
