Posted April 11, 201410 yr Hi, I am hoping someone could help me with a potential upgrade from WinXP to Win8.1. I have run the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant and it virtually instantly tells me that "This Platform is not Supported", and gives no clues about any problems. I have checked the system requirements and my PC seems to meet the minimum requirements, so I would be grateful for any advice that can be offered to resolve this. My system components are: - AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - 4Gb RAM - Plenty of HDD space (2TB, 0+1 RAID) - 1TB useable HDD space. System drive (C:) is on separate 30GB partition. - GeForce 7950GT graphics card - just installed latest NVIDIA drivers (I think!), but not sure about WDDM. Thanks in advance for any, and all, advice.
