Posted April 8, 201410 yr Just added McAfee to a PC that had been running without virus protection. Problem is all the junk that got on before the wall and scanning went up. The computer is really slow and bogged down with pop-ups. I am hesitant to load any third party software to clean it up, when it was probably third party software that caused the problem in the first place. This is not my computer. I am trying to help a computer-hesitant friend (hence the virus protection gap). Any suggestions? Continue reading...
