I ran the System File Checker and found 3 corrupted files, namely:-

  1. AuxiliaryDisplayApi.dll
  2. System.Data.Entity.Design.dll
  3. accessibilitycpl.dll.mui

I managed to take ownership of the 1st corrupted file, but could not take ownership of nos. 2 & 3, getting the following error message:-

Command:-

C:\Windows\system32>takeown /f C:\Windows\system32\System.Data.Entity.Design.dll

ERROR The system cannot find the file specified

Can anyone advise why this command doesn't work for file nos. 2 & 3?

Also, can I download replacements for the 3 corrupted files? and where from?
