Posted April 7, 201410 yr Whenever I download a file, whether it be a ZIP, EXE, RAR, or any other type of file you could imagine, it appears to be corrupt. Upon trying to launch the file, it will give me an error stating that it is corrupt. If it is a zip file, it will tell me there is an unexpected end of archive. I have tried updating the firmware on my router, which did not work. I have tried using different browsers, but they do not work either. I have tried running a virus scan, but it comes up clean. The only solution I've found which I have been unable to try is to do a re-installation of windows 7, which at the moment is currently impossible for me. I am unable to update my virus scanner at the moment too, so I can't determine for sure if it is actually a virus. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix my problem, I would be happy to try them. I am running on windows 7. Continue reading...
