"Make your Windows user account an administrator" Windows 8 tablet Mail App and Exchange 2010...

Hi,

I have a Windows 8 domain joined device which is logged in with a standard account. I have setup the Mail App to connect to the corporate Exchange system. When trying to sync the message "Make your Windows user account an administrator".

I have read many of the articles (some shown below) on what EAS policies are supported and that they should be equal to your GPOs but I'm still having little success. The only way I can get the system to sync is to disable require password. This then allows the client to sync.

I've looked at the following but can't find the Turn on pin sign on

I've also read, which has been great in highlighting the requirements, but I'm still not quite there yet.

I need to have a secure policy in case the user has both a Windows 8 tablet or a phone.

I must be missing a GPO setting somewhere I guess. Can anyone help?

Cheers
