My technical degree came from a school in Connecticut that no longer

exist. My college degree is Political Science major (I was pre-law),

with a minor in Child Psychology from a major mid-west university.

VA paid my way thru college, but no funds for Law School were available

and I was married and had children so I had to work.

Any way, I think I've made more money doing what I do than most

attorneys make.

Here's the link....

http://www.tomshardware.com/2000/03/29/fast_and_inexpensive_/page4.html

The short of it is the same PCB was used for the regular card and the raid

card.

To turn the regular one into the raid version, you simply reflash the prom

on the board with the raid version bios, and then tack a single resistor

from one pin of the eeprom chip to ground.

The hardest thing there is reprogramming the prom. I am unaware of if it

requires am EEPROM programmer, or if it can be done thru a utility while

on-board.

Any 13 year old with an interest in electronics is capable of it.

Great, so was I when I was working on the road for Clearwire deploying a

couple of large private networks (prior to Craig McCraw buying it, even

though he says he 'founded' Clearwire).

That still doesn't change the fact that neither you, nor I, were

officially recognized in the engineering field as fully-fledged engineers

as neither of us have an engineering license.

After Clearwire Equipment Company was spun off of Clearwire, then

subsequently closed down, on my resume, my (internal) Field Engineer

position is listed as 'Senior Field Technician', because legally, that's

what it was, regardless of what the position was called internally in the

company.

Your lies aren't working. You are only digging a deeper hole for

yourself. Recently you have claimed more stuff that confirms what a

doofus and liar you really are. Now just today you added besides you

being super wealthy, and running you own business, you now claim your

handsome and the ladies can't keep their hands off you.

You haven't said anything that proves to me you have any experience.

Don't worry Frank, I don't feel sorry for that reason. I have no

problem with it when someone knows more than I do. But responses like

yours are so vague that one has to wonder. If you're a business man and

the computer man at your supposed "company", how is it you waste so much

time in these newsgroups? I've never met anyone who will talk, cuss,

and argue so much about nothing. That alone challenges who you say you are.

If anybody wanted to waste the time doing it they could pick apart

your posts one by one and prove what a lying sack of sh*t you truly

are. You constantly flip-flop. You say something only to have to

retract big parts of whatever you originally claimed later. You tried

to fake being an electrical or electronic engineer is just the latest

con job in your many attempts to deceive us into thinking you are

something you are not.

You're a phony and a bad one.

EVERYBODY knows it, expect you, because I now suspect you truly are a

mental case in desperate need of professional help that actually

believes his own lies. That is a one sign of dementia.

You've claimed you run a business, yet won't name it and when asked

about it say you don't need a web site to promote it, yet the business

you claim to have is suppose to be a marketing company, who's very

business is all about promoting.

In some posts you pretend you are a hands on guy claiming to even

design the hardware you claim to use in your business, the next say

you say you run this business from home and can't be bothered with the

day to day operations.

In some posts you claim you have hired consultants to help you better

use Vista, other posts you claim to have been a beta tester for Vista

and you known how to not only write software code you claim to modify

hardware. When pushed, you admit this so-called "modification" is

simply replacing a capacitor.

You claimed you have property all over Southern Europe, you claim to

be very wealthy, have three different stock brokers, manage a vast

empire of real estate yourself and your latest claim you're handsome

and need to fight the ladies off with a stick.

You a pitiful joke, nothing more Frank.

I guess you missed the post a while back where I said I was winding down

my active business duties as I'm semi-retired and in the process of

selling my business interest to one of my long time business associates.

All I really do now is approve final file outputs for printing,

sometimes do color checks at the printers (if they're not too late or

early!) sign checks and sometimes yell at people! :-)

I'll proly retire to Europe in the not too distant future.

Never, ever claimed to be an EE...never! Now you're either lying or else

you reading comprehension is for sh*t! Which is it?

Hey bozo...memory loss? Getting drunk might do that to you. You can't

remember asking me what the name of my company was months ago and I told

you? I posted it remember?

Suffering from "old timers" disease are you? And no, I don't have nor do

I need a web site. That bothers you doesn't it, but then again you know

absolutely nothing at all about my business do you?

>

Design the hardware? Never said that at all. Now you're really lying or

else you're mentally deranged. I've "modified" hardware...something many

of us old techs are capable of doing and have done.

>

> In some posts you claim you have hired consultants to help you better

No, no, no...never said I "hired" any consultants. You're lying again.

We have a volume license and MS provides us with a contact consultant.

We call him you idiot.

other posts you claim to have been a beta tester for Vista

So have thousands of others. I've also been a beta tester for Corel,

until they went private..big deal.

Ut, ut,ut,ut...never, ever said I wrote or could even write software. I

can't!

Stop lying.

When pushed, you admit this so-called "modification" is

You can't read can you? Replacing and upgrading capacitors is

"repairing" hardware, moding cards is modifying.

Is this difficult for you to comprehend?

I guess so from you're stupid responses.

>

Actually, three in France. One in the south which is up for sell cause

southern France look a lot like souther cal, where I live. Like to

purchase something in the Greek Isles.

A nice apartment in Paris in the 11 district, close to the Bastille and

a house in Upper Normandy.

you claim to

> be very wealthy, have three different stock brokers, manage a vast

I'm ok financially speaking...three difference brokerage accounts is

nothing out of the ordinary...managing my own real estate holding is not

that time consuming..I'd hardly call it a "real estate empire" though,

cause it isn't.

As for being tall and handsome...I have to admit I am! :-)

>

No adam, the truth is, you are the one who is a pitiful joke and proly

the big liar is this ng. You claim to have retired at 40yrs, sold two

companies and made a fortune, worked as a paid liar for some blood

sucking attorneys...have made a fortune doing your own stock

trades..know how to write software...claim to know more about computers

than anyone else in this ng...yet...you can't even get your one little

upgraded (who still does that?) version of Vista business to run properly.

You're the joke!

You hate MS and you deride anyone who can successfully get MS software

to work properly.

You my friend, have some real issues obviously surrounding your personal

life (or lack thereof).

You need to grow up and shut up. Cause all you've been doing of late is

making a bigger fool out of yourself.

Frankie is changing his story again. This is about the 6th version. I

wonder what tomorrow will bring. Maybe Frankie will tell us about his

astronaut days or when he set the world land speed record, or maybe

when Frankie climbed Mt. Everest on one leg with one eye shut. Maybe

Frank will say he held the world record for eating hot dogs on Coney

Island before that skinny Japanese guy did. Who knows, with Frankie

he'll claim anything, but never is willing to offer proof of any of

it.

I'll give you this much. You sure have a vivid imagination, but you

also have a lousy memory for what you already claimed in the past

which always trips you up and makes you dig a deeper hole which you

then try to lie your way out of.

Sure you will and I bet you got your retirement home all picked out

too. This it?

That would be "your" stupid responses. All you've boasted about and you

have trouble with your and you're?

Your actual wording was "build the hardware". Something you have not

done. After I asked for a deeper explanation, it came down to repairing

a single mb and making a mod to a single card. Just because I change

the oil and tune my car doesn't mean I built it.

I guess this is where DanS was talking about the S T R E T C H thing.
