Crash in wdmaud.drv module ( Win 7 64 bit Service Pack 1)

I support IP softphone which uses winmmAPI. Very intermittemtly our application reports crash in wdmaud.drv module.

Collected dumps show that in most cases the crash occurs in

wdmaud.drv!CWorker::_DoRecurringJobs() + 0x5e bytes (or _DoRecurringJobs() + 0x63 bytes)

wdmaud.drv!CWorker::_ThreadProc() + 0x265 bytes

wdmaud.drv!CWorker::_StaticThreadProc() + 0x2e bytes

Since the issue occurs very intermittently it is unclear which actions from our application side can cause the crash. Sometimes it happens when the phone starts to work with audio, sometimes when finishes.

The issue occurs on Win 7 64 bit Service Pack 1.

I surfed the internet thoroughly but didn’t find any clue so would appreciate any ideas.
