Posted April 2, 201410 yr I received a lightly used computer from work with Vista 32-bit on it. I tried updating it to Windows 7 Home Premium with an update disk that I purchased a few years ago from Microsoft. Everything went fine. It installed properly. I downloaded ALL of the updates to get it to SP1+, but seems to need an activation key. Can I simply purchase a key without having to reinstall the operating system or do I need to purchase another upgrade or full-version of Windows 7 Home Premium?
