Posted April 2, 201410 yr I recently installed and paid for an (alleged?) protection program called "Windows Web Watchdog". I have since gotten some indication that it a fraud and is contributing to some problems and strange messages popping up (e.g. frequent requests to take "surveys"; something called "truisms" oftenb mispelled, etc.). I should have Microsoft Security Essentials running on my computer, but when I attempt to activate it, I keep getting this Windows Web Watchdog screen coming up. Can anyone verify if Windows Web Watchdog is a valid protection program... or is malware of some type? Continue reading...
