reg.exe: The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142).

I started my computer this day, and it was very slow. Then this error came up: reg.exe - Application Error, The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142).

I got really worried because I thought my computer was infected. I scanned it many times with Microsoft Security Essentials, and it said it was clean.

I try to press OK on the reg.exe error but it pops up again after 2 seconds, and I can't do anything about it.

I checked my task manager for processes and I saw a program disappeared and my computer got fast again, but when I took task manager away it got laggy and slow again.

Any solutions on how to get this virus away?

I'm really worried for my computer to disappear.

I forgot to mention sometimes a cmd.exe pops up and tries to make me allow something. And I don't know what to do at all, I really need help fast.

And I can't play any games because it just shows up and I can't get it away.
