kernel panic - not syncing attempted to kill init exitcode=0x0000008b

Hi every body

I get kernel panic error when I run insmod command to add a module to kernel

I want to intercept a clone syscall but after run insmod command, when I run other command like ls I get this error:

segfault at ffffffffffffffdf ip 00007f4a9d57db17 sp ffffffffffffffdf error 5 in libc-2.17.so[7f4a9d4bc000+1bd000]

Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x0000008b

I run ubuntu13.10-server-amd64.iso in vmWare workstation 10.0.1

I am beginner in linux and I can't fix this problem

What should I do for fixing it?
