I have albums with tags properly set and under any other music app, all of the songs of a certain album, appear under one entry but in Windows 8 built-in app, each songs has one entry.

This doesn't happen with every album and I always use the same app to set tags (MP3Tag) so it's not that app that's causing the problem.

Of course, the filter is set to Album, not Song (if I set to songs then all songs should have their own entry which is not the case here)

Here are some screenshots:

This is one of the albums with problems. The tag for the album field is "Guitar Freaks V3 & Drummania V3"

Every song of this album has the same tag and like I said, in other music apps (like Windows Media Player) this album only has one entry and every song of the album, appears under that one entry but not in the built-in Windows 8 Music app.

Now check the next example.

The album "Adventures in Moder Recording", only has one entry (left screenshot) and you can see every song appears under that entry (right screenshot).

Can someone tell me how to fix this?

It's very annoying filtering for albums and having to browse 1 millon songs because the app doesn't group them properly.
