Posted March 29, 201410 yr I have a shared user account on the domain that keeps locking out every Friday. A small group of users (on Windows 7 workstations) share this user account connecting to a Windows 2008 Server. The issue could probably be avoided if each individual user had their own domain account and their workstation, but unfortunately that's not how it was setup. All the workstations are shared among this group as well as the domain account in question that keeps locking out. The account is actively used through out the week (Mon-Fri) by the same users, but only on Fridays that the account gets locked out. Normally these users never log-out during the day, but they do have to log back in at the ctr-alt-del lock-screen after 15 minutes of idle time and shutdown their workstations at the end of the day. There's no email account using this domain account for authentication, no vpn, no mystery user that works only on Fridays. I'm looking for any possible solution that won't affect everyone the domain, but more focused on the individual account in question or on the workstation level if I can help it. Please advise.
