Posted March 28, 201410 yr 1) The "Cypress" update problem has NOT been solved. The links to the cypress.com web page lead to stuff that appears to be intended for developers. Examining (from the control panel) the list of installed software AND the list of updates goes nowhere. The cypress update is NOT on those lists. 2) It appears that I have two profiles on "Microsoft Answers". One of them has the username *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The other has the username *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I can sign on with either one; but using the first one (the oldest) and then clicking on the username, I get a list of questions I asked in the past, which ends with something about a "$10 Valusoft" office suite. I tried editing my profile, but nothing changes. I still appear to have two usernames. 3) So the main problem remains; has anybody else had a difficulty with the Cypress USB update?
