Posted March 28, 201410 yr Hi guys. I recently did a full scan of my system with the Microsoft Safety Scanner. (It takes over 3 hours!). It found a virus called exploit!win32/pdfjsc.akz. It then said it only did a "Partial Removal". The next day I scanned my system again and it came up again as listed as "Partial Removal". When I did a fullscan with my McAfee nothing even turned up and it said my computer was clean. But then again a fullscan from McAfee scans just over 300,000 files while the Microsoft Safety Scanner scans over 1,000,000 files giving my system a more through scan. So it seems to be finding this virus when my McAfee can't. What I don't understand is why the Microsoft Safety Scanner won't fully remove the virus, and is there some other way I can fully remove it from my system? Because "partial removal" does nothing. It still seems to be on my computer. [Original title: exploit!win32/pdfjsc.akz] Continue reading...
