To all USERS:

I wonder why Microsoft won’t support Windows XP after April 15th, 2014, when Windows 8 is not even half of it... If they wont support Windows XP, it means it is FREE REIGN to copy it and SELL it as they give up the copyrights to it and it is all free reign to disassemble it and alter it to anyone's means. THAT is a disgrace to Microsoft and their poor creation of Windows 8 being made for a child to use and not any professional user. There is a lot of things missing in Windows 8 that is in Windows XP only the real professionals needs, and one of them is the customizations of themes to the desktop instead of colored boxes that have no special meaning because it wont also support sight impaired somewhat colorblind to blue users like myself, hence also decimatory to what they can see as to make the proper decisions. AS In windows 7, it can be customized and it may be partial useful but it still is better than Windows 8 in a lot of ways. I rather see Microsoft combine Windows XP and 7 as being its NEW version, not LESS of a version. Also a lot of professionals like civil engineers rely on the hardware compatibility of their special devices that are NOT compatible to Windows Vista, 7, or 8 because there wont be any drivers made for them and they wont toss them out because they made a huge investment in their business to do their business professionally as I can name a lot of specialized devices that work only with Windows XP starting with specialized flat bed scanners, plotters, and special photographic equipment and its software. What are they going to do as Microsoft does not weigh the consequences when you need to make a drastic decision for something inferior? It is like GM telling their customers that they wont upholster their car's interiors and fix their recalls for their SUVs? It is the same damm thing.

Also, what about installing and validating Windows XP? Can we still do THAT? I like many companies have more than one PC using Windows XP as a grand PC all working together as a unit... This Microsoft does NOT think what they have created is THAT GOOD and it must be supported indefinitely, as well as they do the new versions of Windows... Windows XP does more than to share media and check email, and go on line, It is a masterpiece and Microsoft wants us as all users to toss it out for a two bit program as Windows 8... In my case, I rebuild PCs to WORK for me, and in unison so I do not rely upon someone else to do my task for me. I put in new hardware as drives, memory and software that is compatible to them all. To me, Windows is better than using a MAC PC and I wont use anyone else’s. It may upset the apple cart of our fragile economy as this will add the expense in doing business by unnecessarily replacing new PC that do not work for them!
