Posted March 26, 201410 yr Hi Jessen P, Thank you for replying to my query about the browsing history that drops down from the "Search box" in IE11 when you click (even accidentally!!) on the BORDER of the box. In answer to your question about Google, I am assuming that because Search is provided by Google whose name appears next to my search box, it might be in Google's interests to discreetly compile a browsing history which is non-deletable for marketing purposes. I might be wrong!! In response to your suggestion about clicking the small red x against each website in the list in order to delete it, unfortunately no small x appears at all. Can you provide me with any other suggestions because obviously providing a "deleting browsing history" facility in Windows is totally pointless if a non-deletable list is being created elsewhere.
