Posted March 24, 201410 yr I have a lot of documents that are well in excess of 100 pages. As long as the documents are txt or rtf, the index can show results for a word or phrase search as long as the word or phrase is within that first 100 pages. That appears to be the limit. If the word or phrase only appears at some point beyond the first 100 pages of the document it will show no results for that document. (Also, even though I configured the index to search file contents of wps documents, my preferred word processor program, Windows 7 has never been able to search the contents of a wps file at all).
